Walks in Somerset . . . Chew Valley Lake

Morning strolls are always a good idea, especially when you've been basically house bound for a couple of weeks over a hugely anticipated half term. The children are climbing the walls, every one has a serious case of cabin fever, there has been numerous illness', injuries and hospital visits, there is a list as long as your home of jobs to be getting on with at home and the weather forecast for the next two weeks is rain!!

Then there is only one thing to do! Head out into the countryside, wander together, eat ice creams and start counting down the days until the next half term!

We visited Chew Valley Lake with friends during the February half term and in only a few weeks so much has changed, the warmer, longer days are so close you can almost touch them.

Until next time

Gemma
